Receiving an Emergency Call

When an Emergency call s receved;
• The Busy/Transmt ndcator
(for Handhelds) or Busy ndcator
(for Mobles) lghts green.
• The rnger sounds, dependng on the pre-settng.
• The pre-programmed emergency text (e.g. “
EMERGENCY
”) and
the channel ndcaton s dsplayed alternately. (Smple and 10-
key types only)
Dependng on the pre-settng, the callng staton ID (or name) s
dsplayed nstead of the channel dsplay.

Man Down Emergency Call
(Handheld types only)
Ths functon requres the optonal UT-124R
man
down

When the transcever has been left n a horzontal poston for
the specfied tme perod*, the transcever enters the emer-
gency mode, and then the countdown starts.
After the specfied tme perod* has passed, an emergency
alarm s automatcally transmtted once, or repeatedly.
If the transcever s placed n a vertcal poston before the
first transmsson, the transcever exts the emergency mode
and the emergency alarm s cancelled.

Lone Worker Emergency Call
When the Lone Worker functon s actvated, and the spec-
fied tme perod* has passed wth no operaton s performed,
the transcever enters the emergency mode, and then the
countdown starts.
After the specfied tme perod* has passed, an emergency
alarm s automatcally transmtted once, or repeatedly.
If someone operates the transcever before transmsson, the
transcever exts the emergency mode, and the emergency
alarm s cancelled.
