4.12 How to Set Up the Rewinder
STEP 1 of 6
Loosen the
Core Adjustment Knob
. Place a core on the
Rewinder Spindle
. Make sure the core is the same width
of the media you’re printing on or slightly smaller. If the core is the exact same width as the media, ensure it is placed
flush against the left end disk. If the core is slightly smaller, place it in the center using your best judgment.
STEP 2 of 6
Cut a section of the media you’ll be using to print. Place that piece of media flush against the
Left End Disk
and
adjust the
Right End Disk
to fit the media. Ensure that the paper is flat against the core and there is no excess
space on each side of the
End Disks
. Tighten the
Core Adjustment Knob.
NOTE: If there is excess space between the core and the Left/Right End Disks OR the media is not flat against the
core, it will cause the roll to wind haphazardly, not wind tightly and create bubbles in the roll.
