Remove the protective foil/film from the display. Remove the battery cover at the left side of the unit
and insert batteries into the battery compartment as shown, taking extreme care that the pola
and – are observed.

Important: Your might encounter difficulties to take the batteries out. If so, use a hard and tiny
object such as a small screwdriver or others for help.
Discharged batteries should not be discarded with household refuse.
Dispose of discharged batteries at a recycling point.
Remove the batteries from the appliance if it is not to be used for a long period.
