Error code Description Action
1962 A drive does not contain a valid boot sector.
1. Make sure that a bootable operating system is
installed.
2. Reseat the hard disk drive.
3. Run the hard disk drive diagnostic test.
4. Check for a valid RAID configuration, if a RAID
configuration is in use.
5. Replace the following components one at a time,
in the order shown, restarting the server each
time:
a. Hard disk drive
b. SAS backplane
c. (Trained service technician only) I/O board.

d. SAS cables
2400 Video controller test failure.
1. Reseat the video adapter (if installed).
2. Replace the following components one at a time,
