Clearing the Job Log and Printer Queues
Use the information in this section to clear all of the stored jobs from the
printer queues and to delete all entries from the job log.
For instructions on accessing the Job Log Setup menu, refer to “Accessing
and Reviewing the Setup Menus” on page 6–3.
Note:
Once you have set this menu item to YES and confirmed the action,
you cannot retrieve either the jobs or the job log.
AutoClear
Notes
• When set to YES, the
Job Log clears
automatically each
time it has 40 job
records.
• When set to NO, the
job log entries
accumulate until you
print the job log using
the Spooler or from the
operator panel.
• If you use this option
without setting
AutoPrint to YES, you
may lose some job
records.
Macintosh
Using the Spooler utility,
Macintosh users can view,
copy, and print the job log.
Windows NT
Using the Spooler utility,
NT workstations and
clients can view, copy and
print the job log.

NetWare
Using the Spooler utility,
NetWare clients can view,
copy and print the job log.

Select YES for this option.
