Before Adding a Disk Drive Module
Identify the slot for the new disk drive module by using the configuration
planning information for your system. A dummy disk drive module should be in
the slot. See Figure 14.
To Add a Disk Drive Module
1. Pull the dummy module out of the unit.
Attention:
The fans might increase in speed. Do not leave the slot empty for
more than 30 minutes; if you do, the unit, and the disk drive modules that it
contains, might overheat and be damaged.
