The green Ethernet link LED is lit when the Ethernet cable is
connected properly.
Ethernet activity LED
The green Ethernet activity LED is flashing when there is Ethernet
activity.
Connecting the external power-supply adapter
Connecting the power-supply adapter to the Remote Supervisor Adapter II is
optional and provides access to the Remote Supervisor Adapter II event log
when the main server power source is unavailable. After you connect the
power-supply adapter to the Remote Supervisor Adapter II, you can use the
power cord to connect the power-supply adapter to a properly grounded
electrical outlet. You can use the universal power cord that comes with the
Remote Supervisor Adapter II to connect the power-supply adapter to a power
distribution unit (PDU) or to an uninterruptible power supply.
Complete the following steps to connect the power-supply adapter and power
cord to your server:
