9. Install the 4-drop SCSI cable that was shipped with your server,
if you have not installed it previously:
a. Remove the memory board, processor boards, and any
adapters from the system board. (See the appropriate steps
in “Installing Memory-Module Kits” on page 101,
“Installing a Microprocessor” on page 74, and “Installing
Adapters” on page 135, if you need instructions.)
b. Route the end of the 4-drop cable that has the 16-bit to 8-bit
converter down through the grommet as shown and connect
the cable to one of the SCSI connectors on the system board
or to a SCSI connector on an additional SCSI adapter that
you have installed. (See “SCSI Drives” on page 151 for
more information.)
c. Replace the memory board, processor boards, and adapters
that you removed.
