Touch the static-protective package containing the new drive to any unpainted
metal surface and then remove the drive from the package.

Place the drive in the bracket, and insert and tighten the screws.

Connect the power and signal cables to the drive in bay 2, and reinstall the
drive bracket by placing it in the computer and sliding it forward. Make
certain that the bracket fits properly under the alignment slots. Insert and
tighten the screws. The following illustration shows the drive bracket being
reinstalled.

Connect the power and signal cables to the drive in bay 1.
