Chapter 5.
Rack planning
A NeXtScale System configuration can consist of many chassis, nodes, switches,
cables, and racks. In many cases, it is relevant for planning purposes to think of a
system in terms of racks or multiple racks.
In this chapter, we describe best practices for configuration of the individual
racks. After the rack level design is established, we provide some guidance for
designing multiple rack solutions.
