IBM NeXtScale System Planning and Implementation Guide

3.5  Fan modules

The IBM NeXtScale n1200 Enclosure supports 10, 80 mm fan modules. All fans 
modules are at the rear of the chassis and are numbered as shown in Figure 3-7.

The fan modules provide cooling to the compute nodes. The fan modules have a 
dual-rotor design for high efficiency and high reliability. Air flow is front-to-back.
