the wrong settings, you might seriously damage your
server's components or options.
For reference, switch settings for various
microprocessor (CPU) and front side bus (FSB)
clocks are shown in the following table (switches 1
through 4). The switch settings establish the ratio
between the microprocessor clock and the front side
bus clock. Therefore, two different speed
microprocessors, each with a different FSB speed,
might use the same switch settings (400 MHz
microprocessor with 66 MHz FSB and 600 MHz
microprocessor with 100 MHz FSB, for example); this
is not an error.
Locate in the table the microprocessor speed and
front side bus speed the microprocessor is rated for,
then make sure the jumper switches are set as
shown.
