USB connectors
There are two USB connectors on the rear of the computer for attaching USB
compatible devices. See “Input/output connector locations” on page 66 for the
location of the USB connectors.

Audio connectors
The audio connectors are used to connect external audio equipment to the
computer. See “Input/output connector locations” on page 66 for the location of
these connectors.

This connector is used to send audio signals from the computer to external devices,
such as powered speakers with built-in amplifiers, headphones, multimedia
keyboards, or the audio Line in connector on a stereo system.
Line in
This connector is used to accept audio signals from external devices, such as line
output from a stereo, television, or musical instrument into the computer sound
system.
Mic
This connector is used to connect a microphone to the computer when you want to
record voice or other sounds on the hard disk drive. It can also be used by speech
recognition software.
Video connector
The computer uses an AGP video adapter located in the AGP Pro slot on the
system board. The video connector is located on the adapter on the rear of the
computer. See “Input/output connector locations” on page 66 for the location of this
connector.
