10.3.1 Installing the display console in the rack
Use the steps in this procedure to install the monitor console unit.
Attention: The 1U monitor and keyboard are all one unit.
Attention: When you route the keyboard-and-mouse cable, make sure that to the cable does not hang
below the underside of the keyboard where it might be damaged if it interferes with the devices in the
rack space below the console unit.
To install the 1U monitor console unit, complete the following steps:
__ 1. Place the console unit on a stable, flat surface.
Attention:
The video cable is connected to the flat-panel display. As you install the console unit
in the rack, be careful that you do not pinch or cut the video cable.
__ 2. See Figure 16 on page 22. Align the console unit rails with the holes marked on the rack and snap
them into place.
a. Snap the rear end of the console rails into the Retma rails.
b. Extend the front half of the console rails to meet the appropriate rack depth and snap them
into place.
