Plug and Play control
PnP OS installed
The BIOS has the capability to automatically configure all of the boot
and Plug and Play compatible devices. However, this capability
applies only when you are using a Plug and Play Operating system
such as Windows 98.
Select “Yes” if you are using a Plug and Play Operating system.
Reset Configuration Data
Normally, you leave this field Disabled. Select Enabled to reset
Extended System Configuration Data (ESCD) when you exit Setup if
you have installed a new add-on and the system reconfiguration has
caused such a serious conflict that the operating system cannot boot.
Devices and I/O ports
The options in this menu item are used to configure the devices and
the I/O ports that this system has.
On Board
Diskette Drive
control
Determines the on board
Diskette Drive
control function to be enabled
or disabled.
