Caution in Use
Cleaning
To remove dust or dirt from this product, remove the power cord and
then gently wipe it off with a soft, clean cloth.

If the product is terribly dirty, wet a cloth with a neutral detergent
that has been sufficiently diluted with water, wring out the cloth
thoroughly and then wipe off the dirt. Finish by wiping the product
with a dry cloth.

Do not use benzene, thinner, alcohol, disinfectant, chemical wipes,
cleaners or cleaning papers, etc. These may cause damage such as
deterioration or cracking.
[Important] Regularly back up data.
This product is a precision device. Data may be lost depending on the
reason for sudden failures, etc.
As a precaution, always perform regular back ups* of important data
that is saved in this product.
Our company takes no responsibility for any loss or damage to any data
saved on this product or other products connected to this product.
In addition, our company cannot repair, restore, or reproduce any re-
cord contents.
Please be aware that our company takes no responsibility if data
could not be saved on this product due to any cause, for any reason.
* To “back up” means to make a duplicate of your data and save it on sep-
arate storage media (such as HDD, BD, DVD, etc.) in order to protect the
data stored on this product. (Moving data is not the same as “back up”.
To “back up” data means to have the same data saved in two separate
locations.)
This method is safe because it allows you to use the remaining data in
the event that one copy of your data is lost due to malfunction or human
error. Always back up your data as preparation for unexpected circum-
stances.
