Saving Audio Files > Loading from a USB HDD
Loading from a USB HDD
Save music from your personal computer to a USB HDD, and con-
nect the USB HDD to load the music to Soundgenic.
If there is a lot of music, it may be faster than loading music direct-
ly from your personal computer.

What to Prepare
• USB HDD
Drive formats: FAT32, NTFS
Large volume: 2TB for FAT32, and 16TB for NTFS
• The personal computer
To be connected to the USB HDD mentioned above
• Audio files
You can get audio files by downloading from a music distribu-
tion site or ripping them from a music CD. For details of the
file formats of music data that this unit supports, please see
[Supported file formats (extensions)] (on page 64).
Using a data DVD or BD
Music can be loaded by connecting a USB CD, DVD, or BD
drive to Soundgenic and placing a data DVD or BD containing
music files inside.
Content to be saved
● All of the other data in the USB HDD (data DVD or BD) in
addition to the music data can be saved on Soundgenic.
● Music files are saved in the Soundgenic [Import] folder.
● Files with the same name will be overwritten.
[Important] As a precaution, please back up data regularly.
A sudden failure could corrupt data and lead to a loss of data.
