Options Setup

You can set the TV aspect ratio and video format.

In Stop mode, press the 

Setup

button.

Press         button to select
"OPTION".

Select this to view 16:9 ratio movies on a 4:3 ratio TV.

Select this to play wide DVDs in the letter box
mod with black strips at the top and bottom.

Select this to play wide DVDs in the pan and
scan mode with the sides of the picture cut off.

Select this to play wide DVDs in the full-screen
mode with the top and bottom of the screen cut off.

However, you cannot view in the full-screen mode if the movie on
a disc is in 4:3 ratio.

Each country has a different video format standard .

For normal playback, the video format of the disc must be
the same as the video format of your TV .

For example, you will not be able to play a PAL encoded disc
on an NTSC TV.

While the player is in NO DISC mode, hold the main unit's Stop(       ) button
for longer than 5 seconds.

"INITIAL" appears on the display and all settings will return to
the default values.

If you have forgotten your password

1. 

Press         button to move to "NEW
PASSWORD" and then use the Numeric
buttons (0-9) to enter a new password.

2. 

Press         button to move to
"CONFIRM PASSWORD" and then use
re-enter your new password.
