For COLD start move choke lever left to START position (LEFT)
Move the fuel tap right to the ON position (RIGHT). Move the throttle lever right to the
MIDDLE 

position.

N.B. For a WARM/HOT start you will not need to use full choke. If the engine is warm, use
half choke. If the engine is hot, do not use the choke. (Lever in RIGHT position) 
COLD start refers to an engine that has not been run recently, hence the engine is cold.

Place one hand on the machine, and using the other hand pull the recoil until you  
feel a resistance, then pull briskly. Repeat until machine starts. DO NOT let go of the 
recoil handle instead return handle slowly. When the engine has started you need to  
reduce the choke by slowly moving lever to the right to the RUN position if engine  
falters move choke between START/RUN positions and adjust until engine runs    
smoothly.
