WIRELESS CELLULAR PHONE CHARGING SYSTEM (if equipped)
There is a wireless cellular phone
charging system inside the front
console. The system will operate
when all doors are closed, and the
ignition switch is in the ACC/ON
position. The wireless charging
pad is equipped with a cooling
fan to help prevent overheating
while charging.
The wireless charging must be enabled in the User Settings prior
to using.
Using the Wireless Phone Charging System
1. Place a compatible (Qi enabled) device on the center of the
charging pad.
2. The wireless charging symbol will be shown on the upper right
corner of the audio display when the wireless charging begins.
3. If the charging symbol does not come on after placing your
device on the pad, slightly adjust the location of your device on
the pad until the indicator light comes on.
NOTE:
•
Wireless charging systems are less efficient than conventional
charging using a cable. As a result, higher device operating
temperatures may be experienced during use and, thick phone
cases may negatively affect charging speed and temperature.
•
Do not place credit cards or other magnetic media on the pad
as they could be damaged by the magnetic field. In addition,
avoid placing any metallic objects on the pad as they may
impede charging performance.
The USB data port can be used to
connect an external audio device
and listen to it through the audio
system in your vehicle.
The USB data port can also be used
to access Android Auto or Apple Car
Play with your compatible phone.
Insert the USB charger into the USB
charging port, and re-charge a
smart phone or a tablet PC.
