During the open and close process:
z
Verify all pivot joints rotate smoothly without
binding. At the full open position, linkage arms
must not scissor or bind.
z
See
Figure 10 and make adjustments to arm
lengths by:
•
loosening the set screws
•
telescoping the arms
•
retightening the set screws

Note:
The elbow pivot bolt must be parallel with the vertical axis of the operator. If the pivot
bolt is not vertical, binding of the arm assembly may occur during operation.
Set screw
The set screw serves as a physical stop
when the gate is closed.
Middle set screw hole allows a slight bend
in the arm.
Outer set screw hole, furthest from gate,
allows the arm to lock straight for maximum
security.
Pivot bolt must run

Left and Right
