Reduce the motorcycle speed before
down-shifting.
When down-shifting, the engine speed
should be increased before the clutch is
engaged.
This will prevent unnecessary wear on
the drive train components and the rear tire.
When the transmission is in neutral the
green indicator lamp on the instrument
panel will be lit.
However, even though the light is illumi-
nated, cautiously release the clutch
lever slowly to determine whether the
transmission is positively in neutral.

and left.
To change the position, remove the 6mm
hexagon bolts ① , ② and install the bolts to
the desired position by using the hexagon
spanner 6mm.
