● Tighten the cylinder head base bolt.
Cylinder head base bolt
: 8~12 N ∙ m (0.8~1.2 kg ∙ m)
● Install the tappet and shim.
● Fit the chain guide.
CAUTION
With the tappet fitted, it should be replaced if it
doesn
’
t turn smoothly by the hand.
CAUTION
The tappet and shim should be installed at the
original position when removed.
If otherwise, it is difficult to adjust the valve clear-
ance.
CAUTION
Pay caution to prevent the cam chain from drop-
ping into the crankcase.
