7.2. Blue spots on the tiles.
Some cases have occurred where blue spots have appeared on the joints of the tiles. This may be caused by
two things:
a)
Well water that originally contained copper: In this case, we initially recommend adding a metal
sequestering agent to the pool, and then use a preventative product to prevent stains when water
replacements are made.
b)
A
chemical imbalance in the parameters of your pool, imply that the water is fouled:
In the latter case, use a special product to remove copper stains. Once these have been removed,
adjust the parameters of your pool chemicals as indicated in the section of this manual: "START”.
7.3. Use of flocculants in the case your filters contain zeobrite instead of sand.
It is very important not to dispense the flocculants in the filter or just before filtering. We recommend that you
add to the pool.

PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS
1.
The pH probe steps out of time, therefore it is necessary to calibrate at least once a month, depending on
water quality. This will need two buffers, one at pH 7.00 and the other at pH 9.00, which are included
initially.
Care must be taken when calibrating the apparatus, as the pH probe must be cleaned correctly between
each measurement, so there is no possible contamination of the buffers. To this end, use distilled water, or
tap water and gently dry, especially the end part where the membrane is.
NOTE: Clean and dry the pH probe before inserting it into the buffer solution.
2.
The membrane of the pH probe, which is in the end, should not be dried. It must be placed in the pipe
covered with water, or protected by the cap, which has within itself a solution of potassium chloride (KCl) or
water.
NOTE: If for some reason water does not pass through the pipe over a long period of time via the pipe located
where the pH probe is, it is advisable to remove it and keep it with the cap which is in the interior. As
mentioned before, a solution of potassium chloride or, failing that, water.
3.
Caution in the handling of the electrode is highly recommended, it is a delicate component.
4.
If there is a relatively high or low pH reading,( and we suspect that it shouldn’t be that way), it is
recommended to calibrate the pH probe.
5.
If you get a pH reading and it is unstable and has not maintained a specific value, it is possibly because the
total alkalinity of water is outside the recommended range (100-175 ppm). The solution n is to measure the
total alkalinity of water and if it is unadjusted add product to bring it into its correct value.
NOTE: The warranty covers only manufacturing defects. We do NOT cover misuse or breakage.
6.
When there are variations in pH values may be due to two factors:
a)
A water pump that makes up the water circuit and / or the OXYMATIC may not have been properly connected
