MAINTENANCE

6.1. Table of Maintenance and control

From now on, the only thing needed is the maintenance of the equipment and checking the below parameters:

IMPORTANT:   In order for the Titanium electrodes (Ti) to work 100% effectively and to avoid deterioration, they
should work at only 9.5 v,  otherwise its life expectancy will be only a few months. The GUARANTEE does not
cover the deterioration of the electrodes. The voltage should be measured weekly.

6.2. Cleanliness of the electrodes and duration

Visually, you should ensure that there is not too much  dirt  between  the  internal  spaces  of  each  pair  of
electrodes. As soon as you see that they are dirty, disconnect the cables, unwind the chambers and submerge
them for 10 minutes in 50% vinegar and 50% water and delicately brush them with a tooth brush so as not to
damage the patented lining that the electrodes have. Never use a metallic brush as this will seriously damage
the electrodes  and they will no longer work.

Remember that the cables that are connected to the titanium electrodes are the cables that come out of the
control unit if we are stood in front of it, and the cables that lead to the copper electrodes are connected to the
fifth or last port from the left.

The average frequency of cleaning depends on the water quality and quantity of flocculent used.

The average frequency of the cleanliness will depend on the water quality and the quantity of used flocculating
agent.7. Visually check the electrodes every month and clean them when you see dirt between them.

NOTE: Remember to check the parameters of calcium hardness, alkalinity, TDS (total dissolved solids), pH and
residual  copper.  The  more  professionally  monitored  the  better  (at  least  once  a  month,  depending  on  water
losses and filling), this way the water is best disinfected. It will prevent damage to the components of the pool
(including the electrodes) and avoid inconvenience to bathers. This is independent of the disinfection system
used (chlorine, bromine, ozone, OXYMATIC, etc ...), and little by little, owing to the swimmers, filtration and
washing of filters, microorganisms from the water, filled with fresh water, sun , etc ..., change the parameters of
the water.

INCOMPATIBILITIES AND POSSIBLE PROBLEMS WITH THE

SYSTEM OXYMATIC

ATTENTION: the disinfection system by oxygen and mineral ions, OXYMATIC, is fully compatible with others such
as chlorine, bromine, active oxygen, etc ...

7.1

Probes of chlorine copper-platinum amperometric probes.

In some cases it was found that the copper ions created by the OXYMATIC system have caused some kind of
interference in the reading of these probes. It is recommended that Platinum or Gold-Platinum-Gold probes are
used using an amperometric chlorine sensor
