4.1.1.

Water totality disinfected (very impoirtant))

It  is  important  that  before  activating  the  OXYMATIC  system that the water is totally disinfected.  When
functioning, the system is capable of keeping water in pristine condition but it cannot disinfect water that is
green with algae. It is therefore important, should the water contain algae, bacteria and pathogens to carry out a
shock treatment as follows:

To make an effective shock treatment, water pH should be below 7.5. If not, adjust (see parameter table).

Add required dose of disinfectant chlorine, bromine active oxygen to enhance the shock treatment. Follow the
specifications of the product sold at your local retailer, then place in the nozzles and around the pool. Using
rapid dissolution products maybe a preferred option e.g. chlorine fast

Once having added the chemical of your choice keep the pumps of the pool operating for 12 hours so that the
chemicals are recycling.  It is recommended you carry out this operation during the night to minimize the
evaporation of the disinfectant.

Turn off the pump.

Add flocculants. We recommend using small sacks that are placed in the skimmer, or flocculants liquid directly
on the glass of the pool.

Leave about 6-10 hrs until deposits are formed at the bottom.

Pass the clean-funding to eliminate the dirty water full of flocs (NO Re-circulating).

Filter wash.

4.1.2.

Filtre backwash

Filter backwash - this process will clean the filter, removing all waste previously held by the filter. Consult the
manual if necessary.

NOTE: Use the Zeobrita (zeolite, volcanic rock) in replacing the sand filter. You'll get a leak between 2 and 5
microns instead of 40 microns which filters the sand. It should be changed every 4 or 5 years. The Zeobrita
saves 50% water in washing the filter.

4.1.3.

Adjustment of the copper

It is necessary to measure the copper disuelto within the water with a colorimetric meter.  If the level of copper
is between 0.5-0.7 ppm the OXYMATIC system can be started however, if the copper level is over 0.7 ppm it will
be necessary to reduce the levels.  If the level of copper is below 0.5 ppm it will be necessary to increase the
copper – see two options to carry this out below:

Option 1 (recommended by Hydrover):

-

Start the equipment Oximatic in manual switching position

-

The electrode of copper  set to work only (to see paragraph 4.3.1)

-

To leave the equipment working 48 followed hours

-

measure again the copper.

-

Leave the system working for the number of hours necessary to achieve the recommended levels.

Option 2:

-

To dissolve in the swimming pool Sulfate of Copper in powder. The recommended dose is 0,5 g for
every 1 m3 (50 g in a swimming pool of 100 m3) to obtain a proportion of 0,5 ppm in the water.

-

To dilute the necessary amounts in a container and to distribute it within the swimming pool

-

Measure copper levels 12 hours after distribution

-

In the event of the required levels not being achieved repeat the process proportionately

The ión Charges, CU2 + is a powerful agent of algicida and bactericidally. In concentrations below 0.4 ppm, it
loses efficiency, and over 0.7  can stain  the glass of the swimming pool. In addition value of pH over 7.5-7.6
favor the rainfall of any metallic ión that exists in the water. Generated this way stain of different colors green -
bluish, black and brown can appear.

IMPORTANTLY:  This  adjustment  only  has  to  be  carried  out  when the system is activated since the Oxymatic
takes charge supporting the suitable level of copper in the water. The dosing recommended (0,5 and 0,7 ppm)
There should be no health concerns  since according to the WHO (World Health Organization) a water is
drinkable with a content level of up to 2 mg/l of copper.
