STEP 4: ATTACH TANK STRAP ASSEMBLY TO TANK
1.
Roll the tank onto its back for unobstructed access to the top and bottom of the tank, as illustrated below.
2.
Place the completed Tank Strap Assembly into the recesses along the front and top of the tank.
The next procedure must be followed in order to prevent damage to the tank. DO NOT force the
assembly together as this could cause the nylon bushing to damage the tank.
3.
Slide the 1/2 x 13 x
8”
Bottom Hex Bolt through the Bottom Tank Gasket, the loosely assembled tank bracket
from Step 3, and the Top Clamp, as illustrated below.
4.
Tighten the Top

Side Bolt Assembly until snug, see right.
5.
Tighten the Bottom
-
Side Bolt Assembly until snug, see right.
6.
Torque the Top

Side Brass Nut to specification, drawing the as-
sembly into the recess of the tank.
7.
Torque the Bottom
-
Side Bolt Assembly to specification.
