Welcome to the HydroHammock Instructional guide demonstrating how to set up and begin using the versatile

Hydro Heater

 TM

portable water heating system, which can be purchased together with either HydroHammock

model or by itself as a stand-alone product.

Safety Guidelines

The Hydro Hammock

TM

Portable Water Heating System operates using propane gas, electricity and functions to

heat water ranging from lukewarm to scalding hot temperatures. Please use caution when operating the system

and review and follow all instructions carefully. Before powering on your system you'll want to make sure you

choose a location that is clear of flammable vapors. In addition, the system is not 100% waterproof, so avoid

submerging the system in water.  The system is highly water resistent.

Operate ONLY in Upright position

The system is designed to operate standing upright. Failure to

follow these instruction can result in serious injury or fire.

What you’ll need

There are a few things you'll need to operate the system including a water source, which can be water from your

home and a garden hose or a natural body of water such as a lake or river that's safe. The system requires fuel to

operate and uses propane.

Quick set-up guide

1.  ***Stand the system up on its wheels with all Warning Label Arrows pointed up.
2.

***Remove BOTH (2) circular vent port covers from the top and side of the case.

3.  Attach Propane Tank to hose regulator and fully open propane tank valve.

4.  Check Gas Hose and connections for leaks as instructed.  (See Service Safety)

5.  Connect Color coded Red & Blue water hoses.

6.

Insert the Blue hose with inline strainer into water source (i.e. Hammock).  Included magent lanyard will

help secure the inline strainer to the outside of the hammock.

7.  Insert Red hose with shower head into hammock or hang for showering use.

8.  Heater Settings: Set Blue Dial (water flow) on Heater case all the way to the (+) setting.  Set the Red (Flame

Adjustment) flow knob to straight up 12’oclock position.

9.  Flip the on/off toggle switch on so the red light comes on and the pump starts to run.  There will be a series

of audible clicks and the burner will ignite. Should the burner not ignite after 5 seconds, shut off and go to

the “Trouble Shooting” section.

10.

Check the temperature of the water often until you have desired temp. and then re-check often.  SEE

WARNINGS ON SCALDING WATER.

11. Your Hydro Heater shower head is equipped with a Shower head temperature indicator.  The LED lights will

show green (cold), blue (warm), red (hot) and extremely hot (flashing red.)  These are just indications.  An

accurate thermometer is recommended for accurate water temperature readings.

12. If using as a Hot Tub or Water Bed in the Hydro Hammock

tm

-  Run the heater until the water in the hammock

is at desired temp and turn off the unit with the red on/off toggle switch.  In most cases once heated, you will

not need to continually run the heater.

13.  After use drain by disconnecting hoses and letting pump spurt out water and air, rock from side to side and if

exposed to freezing conditions, winterize as instructed in the storage section of this manual. Open the drain

valve (ribbed cylindrical stem next to the water input valve) to ensure draining of water.
