Detailed Setup

Follow these simple steps for using Hydro Heater

TM

unit Complete Set-Up steps on previous pages.

CAUTION

Electrical Connection

“D” Batteries

• D cell battery compartment.

• These batteries start the

igniter automatically when

proper water pressure is

sensed by the heater system.

• If Heater doesn’t start, check

batteries and replace if

necessary..

Blue Adjusts Water Flow

Heater Temperature

Adjustment

WATER FLOW

• Rotate the Blue ring to the

right (+) setting.  This increases

the flow of water through the

heater.  Reducing the water

flow will increase temperature

but also increase the pressure

on the pump and drain battery

faster.

• Clockwise Increases Water

Flow

For Hotter Water

• To reach the hottest water temperature, the  BOTH

KNOBS

will be rotated to the left.

• DANGER - SEE SCALDING WATER WARNING

• The resulting output water temperature is dependent on

the temperature of your source water

.

• Hydro HeaterTM unit will NOT maintain a constant

temperature when using in a recirculation system for the

Hydro Hammock.  The water temperature will continue to

increase as the water in the Hammock increases.

• Hydro HeaterTM unit will not increase the water

temperature more than 35° over the temperature of the

source water.

•  Connect the Battery System Connectors before use.

Unconnect Battery System Connectors when in transit to

eliminate the possibility that the on/off switch turns on

accidentally.

•  Disconnect During storage to prolong the battery life.

Red Adjusts Flame

HEATER TEMPERATURE

• Rotate the Red ring to the

upright center position as a

starting place.  This contol

knob increases the flame and

temperature of water through

the heater.

• ***Counter Clockwise

Increases Temperature.

DANGER:  Scalding Water

The Water Temperature of the Hydro Heater

 TM

  will

not maintain a constant temperature when used in a

recirculating system.

When using to heat the Hydro Hammock constant

monitoring of temperature is required to maintain safe

temperatures.

Once the Hammock is at your preferred temperature you

can shut down the heater until you need to reheat the

water.

Drain Screw

• Grooved Screw used to Drain

Heater for Winterization and

Storage.

• Re-Tighten after draining.

D- Battery for Ignition of

Heater

Heater Drain Screw

Battery Indicator /

Charger Port

• Plug the smart charger here.

• Replace water resistant cap
