5.5 Commissioning

Proceed as follows for commissioning:

1. Insert the coalescing element in the coalescing housing. see

2. Open the shut off valve on the INLETOIL port.

3. Shut the shut off valve on the OUTLETOIL port.

4. Bleed the product while filling.

5. Open the air-vent plug X1 on the coalescing housing.

6. Switch the external boost pump on.

NOTICE! Follow the maximum permissible operating
pressure.

7. If the coalescing housing has been bled, then close the air

bleed plug X1.

8. Open the shut off valve on the OUTLETOIL port.

9. Check the required flow rate, see

The coalescing housing is now ready for operation.

5.5.1 Setting/checking the flow rate

Set the maximum permissible volumetric flow for external motor-
pump assembly.

The flow rate depends on the viscosity of the fluid to be dewa-
tered, see
