11 Electrical
Connection
Electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician. All
local and national electrical regulations and codes must be adhered to. If
any electrical or electromagnetic disturbances are likely to be present in
the supply system, please inform the manufacturer.
•
The voltage and frequency given on the motor rating plate must be in accordance with
that of the power supply.
•
The pump motor must be protected from overloading.
•
Check the direction of rotation of motor by pulsing the switch on and off. The correct
rotation is clockwise when seen from the fan end.
The motor has to feature a star (Y-) or delta connection, depending on the voltage supply (cf.
rating plate on the motor).
