6 Installation / commissioning
In this chapter you will find instructions regarding the mechani-
cal and hydraulic installation of the filter housing.
6.1 Mechanical/hydraulic installation
Mount the filter housing in any random position using 2
hexagon head screws M 12 in accordance with ISO 4014 /
ISO 4017. A preferred direction of flow is defined at the works
through the element removal label.

Before mounting take note of the element removal label. Use
this side as the inlet (IN). This way the filter elements functions
as a bag and the contaminant particles are situated in the filter
element and not in the filter housing during a filter element
change.
Make sure that no stresses or vibrations are transmitted to the
filter housing. Use hoses or expansion joints if necessary.
