11. Close the drain valve.

Cleaning the suction strainer in the lance
NOTICE
Operation without a suction strainer

The unit may not be operated without the suction strainer.

Clean the suction strainer regularly.
To protect the pump from coarse contamination or foreign bodies, a suction strainer is
installed in the suction lance.
In most cases tapping the lance is enough. In most cases tapping the lance is enough.
If this is not sufficient, the front pipe piece is unscrewed from the suction lance and the
suction strainer inside it is removed.
To clean the suction strainer, remove the insert and clean it by washing it or flushing it
with compressed air.
