before performing any work on the hydraulic
system.

Conduct the prescribed adjustments, maintenance/servicing and inspection work in
accordance with the respective schedules. Secure the unit against accidental start up.

Any screw connections which have been undone/removed are to be checked to see
that they have been properly resecured. Once maintenance work is complete, check
that the safety devices are working properly.
