Clean the suction strainer.
To protect the pump from coarse contamination or foreign bodies, a suction strainer
is installed in the suction lance.
This suction strainer has to be inspected and cleaned from time to time as
necessary.
TIP
In the event of insufficient suction or delivery action, check the suction
strainer immediately! Caution: Never operate the OF without a suction
strainer.
In most cases tapping the lance is enough. If this is not sufficient, the front pipe
piece is unscrewed from the suction lance and the suction strainer inside it is
removed.
The suction strainer is cleaned by washing it or blowing it out with compressed air.
