Before startup
Check the level and the color of the oil (see Vacuum Pump
Operating Instructions)
Daily
Check the level and the color of the oil (see Vacuum Pump
Operating Instructions)
Visually inspect the entire unit for leaks.
Weekly
Check the level and the color of the oil (see Vacuum Pump
Operating Instructions)
Check that the oil fill plug (f) is firmly tightened. Max.
torque 35 Nm.
Check the vacuum pump for oil leaks – in case of leaks,
immediately remove the vacuum pump from service and
have it repaired.
Monthly
Make sure that the unit and individual components are free
from dust and dirt , clean if necessary.
Every 6 Months
Also clean the fan cowlings, fan wheels, the ventilation grilles
and cooling fins.
Check inspection and control measurement of the electrical
connection [i] of the electric motor of the vacuum pump.
Circumferential backlash and visual inspection of the
coupling [h] (see operating manual/maintenance schedule of
the vacuum pump)
Replace intake air filter / dehumidifier.
Every six months or
every 1,500
operating hours
Change the Oil (see Vacuum pump Operating Instructions)
Removal of the detonation flame arrester [e] on the vacuum
pump for maintenance according to maintenance schedule
(see Vacuum Pump Operating Instructions).
All deposits, such as dirt and dust, threaten the explosion safety of the
unit.
