OPTIONAL CONTROLS
WORK STOP
The work stop is used to set a consistent cut
length from 0 to 40”. The photo shows the stop at a
short length which is adjusted with one or both of the
locking handles. The bar with the actual stop attached
to it can be removed, turned 180
O
end for end, and
inserted for longer lengths. The work stop can also be
swung out of the work area when it is not required.
HYDRAULIC BUNDLING
The bundling is used to hold a number of stock bars, tubes or other shapes which must be held more securely
when cut than a square or rectangle shape. The bundling vise is activated and released with the vise control lever.
There are also flow control valves with wich the timing of the vise and bundling can be varied so they do not close at
the same rate. These flow control valves are located on the left (idler) side of the machine as shown in the photos.
VARIABLE VISE PRESSURE
Some materials require that the vise pressure be reduced to prevent the stock from having
it’s shape distorted. This can be accommodated with the knob on the power pack door located
on the left (idler) side of the machine. The pressure should be returned to the full pressure of
550 psi (3789kPa) whenever reduction is not necessary. Failure to do may result in damage to
the material, machine and personnel.
