The voltage regulator gets very hot when the vehicle is driven. 

- Allow the voltage regulator to cool down before performing any work.

The main fuse protects all power consumers of the vehicle.  It is located in the starter relay housing 
under the seat. 

Preparatory work

Press and hold the kill switch � while the engine is idling until

the engine stops.

Remove the air filter box cover.  (
