EQUIPMENT SHUT-DOWN
1.
Switch the equipment off using the power switch.
2.
Turn off the power (put the male connector out of the female socket).
MAINTENANCE AND CARE
Before any maintenance it is necessary to cut off power supply.
The equipment should not be cleaned using any abrasive materials, metallic sponges
and brushes, pricking and cutting items, aggressive chlorine-containing cleaning agents,
gasoline, acids, alkalies and solvents.
The following operations shall be performed daily upon completion of work:
1.
Disassemble the meat chopping system. Wash meat mincer demountable
assemblies with warm soap solution, thoroughly swill it out with clean water and wipe
it dry. Thereupon, it is recommended to lubricate the spiral conveyor, cutter and meat
chopping grate with food vegetable oil.
2.
Wipe the meat mincer with a clean wet cloth or sponge.
Lubrication of the gear reducer
Lubrication of the gear reducer should be performed no less than 2 times a year by
skilled professionals of the service department only.
If the equipment is not to be operated for a long time (days off, holidays, etc.), it should
be de-energized and thoroughly cleaned.
SAFETY
1.
Equipment installation and connection to the electricity mains shall be performed by
skilled professionals only.
2.
To connect monophase equipment, a three-wire circuit with grounding shall be used.
3.
The equipment shall be installed on a stable support 800-900 mm in height with flat
level surface. The surface shall be dry and clean. The support shall stand the equipment
weight.
4.
The operation staff shall ensure that the power cord is not hanging over the edge of the
support and touching items with sharp edges. Do not put foreign objects on the power
cord. In the course of de-energizing do not pull the cable, always take the male
connector. Operation of the equipment with a damaged electric cable shall not be
allowed.
5.
Blocking of the motor ventilation openings shall not be allowed.
6.
The equipment is intended for processing of non-cooled meat without bones, gravels
and pellicles only. The equipment should not be used to grind meat and fish with bones,
frozen and non-food products, bread, vegetables and fruit.
7.
In the course of equipment operation wearing of special clothes is recommended. No
loose clothes, scarves, neck handkerchiefs, ties, jewelry, etc. are allowed. The sleeves
should be buttoned. The hair should be covered with a kerchief.
8.
The equipment should not be running idle (without meat), as it results in overheating
of the cutter and grate and premature wear.
9.
To avoid electrical shock, do not touch the equipment with wet hands.
