4. Connecting the induction loop
• The loop amplifier has to be located outside of the loop.
• Twist the section of cable between the amplifier and the loop (supply to the induction loop) to reduce interfe-
rence. (See Fig.2)
• Use a suitable measuring instrument (e.g. ohmmeter) to make sure that the loop is not grounded (no defect in
the insulation of the loop system). Typical resistance values for a 300m² loop lie between 0.5 and 2 ohms.
Since the master loop is longer, it also has a greater resistance.
• Connect the cable ends of the loop to the corresponding outer terminals (13) on the rear panel of the amplifier.
Make sure that you do not mix up the ends of the master and the slave cable.

5. Configuring the audio inputs
Up to three audio sources with line level can be connected to the audio inputs (15,16,17). The input IN3 does
not have a sensitivity regulator on the front panel because it has a predefined level. Any devices equipped with
a line level can be connected, e.g. mixing desks, tuners, CD and MP3 players, TVs, receivers, DVD players or
video recorders.
