4 Connecting of gas SF6 pipeline
Screw out the pipeline joint and valve protection cover, clean the pipeline joint and valve surface by
cloth or paper dipt a little anhydrous alcohol, mount “O” type gasket ring, paint some sealant, connect
to regulating lever box.
Connecting the pipeline’s top joint with the valve of three poles. Don’t screw down temporary, open the
valve a little, in about 15 seconds will leak a little gas and sounds, it is normal phenomenon, screw
down quickly and screw down the connection bolt by spanner, the moment is 30Nm.

5 Earthing
Both on base and support pole have earthing terminal, according to user’s request to earth. Before
earth, polish the connection interface by emery cloth.

6 Installing primary connection terminal plate
The circuit breaker’s bottom output wire can be in both sides of face and reverse

box have switch on indication and switch off indication is face, or the side of the base have pressure
meter is face
）

the output direction of top output wire plate can install according to user’s request. If
user haven’t request, the top output wire plate will install at face side. When installing the top terminal
plate, remove the ring on the top of pole first, there are 5 screws of top connection terminal plate.
Polish the installing interface by emery, then clean by alcohol, daub some conductive paste on the
surface equably. Fix the top terminal plate by 5 M16 bolts.

7 Installing secondary wire of circuit breaker
There are gland cover for user connect secondary cable under bottom cover board of control box, user
can refer to wire connection drawing.
Attention: 1. connecting the secondary wire must in no electrification state.
2. connecting the secondary wire must in the state of the switch on spring and switch off
spring are released.

8 Charging gas SF6 into circuit breaker
Finished the 4.4 item’s work, connect charging gas equipment first. The gas SF6 in the air bottle
charge to three poles by pressure reducing valve, charging pipe and the joint under pressure meter,
see drawing 15. Before charging, scour the pressure reducing valve and charging pipe 3 to 5 seconds
by gas SF6 first, to eliminate the atmosphere and moisture maybe in pipeline. Charging gas pole by
pole, in charging, the pressure reducing valve shall below 0.62MPa, pay attention to the data of
pressure reducing valve and pressure meter until the charging pressure up to 0.6MPa. After finished
charge gas, screw out joint of charging device and base, save it.
