Preset Conditions
1.
The server is powered on.
2.
You have configured RAID 1 properties by using two hard disks, synchronized
data between hard disks, and installed an OS.
Test Procedures
1.
Power on the server.
2.
After the OS starts, remove a RAID 1 member disk.
3.
Install a new hard disk of the same model, and check the hard disk indicator
state.
4.
Check the hard disk indicator state after a time period.
Expected Result
1.
In step 3, the yellow and green hard disk indicators blink at the same frequency,
which means that data is being synchronized between the two hard disks.
2.
In step 4, after data is synchronized for the new hard disk, the green indicator is
steady on, and the yellow indicator is off.
Test Description
The time period in step 4 ranges from half an hour to 8 hours, depending on the model
and capacity of the hard disk.
