TCP/IP Settings
Step 2
Configure the basic network settings, including the NIC Type, IPv4 or IPv6 Address, IPv4 or
IPv6 Subnet Mask, IPv4 or IPv6 Default Gateway, MTU settings and Multicast Address.
NOTE

The valid value range of MTU is 1280 ~ 1500.

The Multicast sends a stream to the multicast group address and allows multiple clients to acquire the
stream at the same time by requesting a copy from the multicast group address. Before utilizing this
function, you have to enable the Multicast function of your router.
Step 3
(Optional) check the checkbox of Enable Video buffering to enable the function. Video buffering
detects the network disconnection automatically, and the record files will be saved to the local
SD card instead of the platform before the network back to normal. After the network is back,
the record files and data will be synchronized to the platform.
NOTE
IPC6311-IR does not support Video buffering.

to save the above settings.

It asks for a reboot for the settings to take effect.
