Parameter Description
Setting
Bit
Rate(kbit/s)
The bit rate is the number of bits transmitted per unit
of time.
The following bit rate types are supported:
CBR
The compression speed is fast; however, improper
bit rate may cause vague motion images.
Variable bit rate (VBR)
The bit rate changes according to the image
complexity. The encoding efficiency is high and
the definition of motion images can be ensured.

NOTE
The system
displays the value
range based on
the device model.

Set
.
If the message "Parameter Updated" is displayed, click
OK
. The system automatically
saves the settings.
If the message "You do not have Privileges" is displayed, you must apply for the
parameter setting permission from an administrator. For details, see 9.3 Configuring
User Permissions.
If a message indicating that the bit rate is out of range is displayed, enter a new bit rate
value.
