Before removing the components, be sure to determine the minimum configuration for each component
and follow all guidelines in the server user guide. Always use the recommended minimum configuration
above before removing any DIMMs. If you are unable to isolate the issue with the configuration above,
you will then remove all but the minimum number of associated DIMMs for each processor as directed by
the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Support Center.
Prerequisites
CAUTION:
When reducing the server to a minimum configuration for troubleshooting, do not remove additional
processors. Processor and heatsinks are not designated for customer self repair. The processor
and heatsink must be removed and replaced by an authorized service provider.
