Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.
3. Remove the server from the chassis

5. Remove the secondary riser cage
on page 30.

Remove the M.2 SSD riser board:
a.
Remove the riser board screw.
b.
Carefully disengage the latch from the riser board post.
c.
Remove the M.2 SSD riser board.
7.
Remove all installed M.2 SSDs from the riser board.
8.
If you do not intend to replace the M.2 SSD riser board, install the DIMM guard.
