12. To enable HPE the SR SmartCache or MR CacheCade feature, install the energy pack.

SmartCache and CacheCade enable solid-state drives to be used as caching devices for hard drive media. These features accelerate
access to frequently used data by caching hot data from the hard drives onto the solid-state drives.

13. Install the riser cage.

14. Cable the controller.

15. Install the access panel.

16. Install the server into the rack .

17. Connect all peripheral cables to the server.

18. Connect the power cords:

a. Connect each power cord to the server.

b. Connect each power cord to the power source.

19. Power up the server.

20. If removed, install the front bezel .

21. To configure the controller, see the relevant controller guide.
