Removing and replacing the OCP network adapter
CAUTION:
Before replacing a DIMM, expansion board, or other similar PCA components due to a
perceived hardware error, make sure first that the component is firmly seated in the slot. Do not
bend or flex circuit boards when reseating components.
CAUTION:
EMI disturbs the normal functioning of an electronic device. To maintain proper EMI
shielding, do not operate the system when the QSFP port knockout or the OCP network adapter is
not installed.
Prerequisites
Before you perform this procedure, make sure that you have a T-15 Torx screwdriver available.
Procedure

Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.

Remove the OCP network adapter:
a.
Loosen one pair of diagonally opposite screws halfway, and then loosen the other pair of screws.
b.
Completely remove all screws in the same sequence.
