Clearing the CMOS

Turn off the PC, disconnect the power cord and all cables, then remove
the cover.

Set the system board switch

to the
ON
position.

Replace the cover, and reconnect the power cord and video cable.

Reboot the PC. A message similar to the following will be
displayed:
“Configuration has been cleared, set switch Clear to the ON position
before rebooting.”

Turn off the PC, disconnect the power cord and video cable, and remove
the cover.

Set the system board switch

to the
OFF
position.

Replace the cover, and reconnect the power cord and data cables.

Switch on the PC. Run the
Setup
program by pressing
F2
. Then press
F9
,
the CMOS default values will be automatically downloaded and saved.

Press
Esc
to save the configuration and exit from the
Setup
program.
