Stopping Your PC

To stop the PC, make sure that you have exited all programs and the 
operating system (if necessary), and then press the power button on 
the control panel. 

Stopping Your PC in 
Windows NT 4.0 or 
Windows 95

With some operating systems, such as Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0, 
the PC will automatically switch off when you shut down the operating 
system.

Refer to the operating system manual for details on how to shut down 
or exit the operating system.
